DD&S Express was established in 1986 as a division of the Davidson Transfer & Storage Company, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.  Its mission was to offer what we felt was a void in the trucking industry -- High, Wide, Heavy and Specialized transportation combined with quality service on standard shipments.

In 1995 DD&S was incorporated and became a company of its own.  Our success and growth are attributed to the Davidson standards of doing business, honesty, integrity, innovation and reliability, which started in 1896 and still, describes the way we do business today.

DD&S is the answer to providing specialized trucking service on a nationwide basis through a network of Agency Terminals.  These terminals are strategically located in key market areas throughout the continental United States.  In short this means DD&S is your answer to worry free shipping!

Over the years DD&S has extended its authority to include the various Provinces in Canada.  DD&S has also added the equipment and knowledge to handle the most difficult freight shipments referred to as Super Loads.

With carefully planned qualification programs, requirements for drivers and equipment are among the most stringent in the industry -- not only must they pass all D.O.T. qualifications, they must pass ours!  To accomplish this, only experienced, professional drivers and the best equipment are accepted.
